Our Community

We believe it is our corporate responsibility to support the community within which we operate. Whether it's volunteering, mentoring children or donating software, Procura and its employees are making our communities better places to live and work. We believe the quality of life in our communities directly relates to the success of our business.

Procura Health Education Initiative (PHEi)

To demonstrate the inherent value we place in advancing the continuing education of health care workers, Procura is very pleased to invite all colleges and universities offering health information study programs to participate in the Procura Health Education Initiative.

Through our educational initiative we offer the Procura Health Care System as a commitment to provide students in health profession programs with hands-on experience using health information technology as a professional practice tool. In establishing community partnerships, and in our endeavour to play a pivotal role in fostering the health education community, Procura has sponsored student scholarships, established perpetual bursaries and defined marketing campaigns to further raise the profile and enrolment within professional health study programs. We welcome all enquiries.

Camosun College Computer Science Bursary

In May of 2001, Procura established the bursary to assist deserving Camosun College Computer Science students by proving an endowment of $10,000. Donations to endowment funds are particularly advantageous because of the Provincial Government's Ministry of Advanced Education, Training and Technology's Matching Fund Program.

The program provides that any donation made to an institutional endowment fund will be matched by the Government, thus doubling the sum of the donation.  Procura’s annual bursary of up to $1,000 to students at Camosun College has helped five students achieve their post-secondary educational goals in computer science.

Charitable Giving
